I hope so, its hard to say when you’re just acquiring rights. I purposefully stayed on the conservative side to keep the conversation on track. If the Rangers could get a Defensive prospect back, that would be ideal.

I mean picks are lottery tickets and Lindgren is a sure thing = NHL Caliber Player. He’s at a perfect age to sign long term, but he’ll likely want a raise so needing a team with Cap Space for a Player like him is all you need. A 2nd/3rd that may or may not even help you for 3-5 years and an okay prospect for a need you can lock up to term now seems fair to me

Its gonna be more than that. I expect to see 4-5yrs, 4.5m. The locker room is mentally fragile as it is, you cant get rid of the one guy with heart.

I mean his skill set is easily replaceable and his style of play doesn’t last long. But yea the team is pretty damn soft when Lindgren is out of the lineup. Country club mindset
