Granato is known to have requested Adams to get Greenway, he has played well but he has not been a game changer.

Neither Meyers nor Olausson offer any value to Buffalo, and the first is very late but Byram would be the biggest asset
True the Sabres would prefer a RHD, but Byram could be included in a trade for defense first RHD.
If this was offered to Buffalo, Adams may be smart enough to say yes.
