But why make this deal? You don’t trade Buch just because. You need to target quality coming back and preferably on the backend. No offense to Edmonton but their farm system is not good. You should be able to land a grade A prospect and a first for Buch this year. Broberg has lost some shine this year and hence something I wouldn’t wanna gamble on

Broberg would immediately be the Blues #1 defensive prospect with potential to be great partner for Parayko

Foegele has never eclipsed 30 pts and has little to no value to the Blues
Lavioe is a mid prospect who is bordering on a career AHLer
You are getting a whole lot of mid for a guy the Blues don't even have to trade.
