I've been enjoying watching the resurgence of the Laval Rocket this season and recognize that they need to hold onto their players because they are in a dogfight to make the playoffs.

That being said: there are a few vets in this Habs team who I feel can use a "conditioning stint" in Laval while we give some Rocket players a cup of coffee for 2 weeks.

Sean Farrell: Has tons of poise with the puck and makes great decisions, especially on the PP. I would love to see him get a few games, especially in place of Pearson who I just dislike as a player. I know they are trying to increase his trade value, but it's super transparent and nobody wants him or cares.

Josh Roy: I would love to see him playing with Gignac and Anderson in place of Armia. They have chemistry together and he can snipe the puck with Anderson in front of the net. Send Armia to Laval for the rest of the season and maybe he can help them win the Calder. He always plays for like 3 games after being called back up and loses his motivation. If he wants to slack, let him slack in Laval.

Lias Andersson: If it was not for the desire for Laval to make the playoffs, Andersson would be up in Condota's place. This guy deserves and NHL shot after all his hardships making it to the show.

Will Trudeau: This kid would not be out of line to request a trade. Constantly overlooked and outperforming expectations. If they plan to play Xhekaj 12 minutes in Montreal, send him down and play him 25 minutes in Laval with Barron or Mailloux. Trudeau would be perfect playing 10-12 minutes a night for the Habs, especially now that we've unofficially given up on the season.
