laugh Not for that offer is LOU trading Pulock.

The Islanders beat your joke of a team last night, More like the Leafs are going to be sellers.

Even if the isles wanted to move Pullock and he agreed to waive his NTC, Unfortunately Toronto and Isles don't match up

Eh, Jones is a young, big forward with average hockey IQ but fast skating, seems like the kind of bottom 6 guy Verbeek would like to keep around.

Or he could not get QOd this summer. Who knows.

Gregor & Jones are flotsam in this deal, I'd take them out. Isles have Sorokin and Varlamov locked in for the next few years so Jones is superfluous, and while Gregor has been a decent bottom-6er in Toronto, the Isles have more than enough depth there - it's the top-6 that needs help.

And in all seriousness, it's an overpay. Ryan Pulock is a very good RHD, and would be the best one on the Leafs if they acquired him. But he's not enough of a game-changer to give up your 1st this year, arguably your best F & D prospects, plus a solid middle-6 (when healthy) option in Nick Robertson. If Pulock would waive his NTC, I'd take this deal pretty easily. Brodie can slide into RD2 for this year, and there's more than enough out their in free agency this summer that would be totally fine as your 4th best D next season (Montour, Roy, Pesce, & Dumba all spring to mind as decent options.)

i agree with most of what you said my original comment said gregor and jones would be decent to flip for some low or mid picks and them going to NY makes the cap work
