Ryan Pulock is off LTIR and Adam Pelech skated in a full contact jersey today. Both are expected to make the trip to Toronto for Monday's game. I expected Pulock to be back soon but Pelech is a huge surprise. I thought there was a legit chance he was done for the season, which would have meant LTIR money was in play. Bortuzzo and Cizikas have shifted on LTIR but can come off whenever they are ready. Once Cizikas is off, the Islanders will need to make a roster move (simplest is sending a player like MacLean to BPT but could also be a trade because guys are getting healthy). Bortuzzo could be waived at any point if he comes off LTIR. He could also bump Aho/Bolduc off the roster. Depends on how staff/management feel.

News:
Lamoriello and Roy said today they are going to give Wahlstrom a long look. This is probably his last chance but nonetheless I don't expect him to be traded right now. Maybe by the deadline he could be if he hasn't shown enough, but for now Wahlly is locked into that 3rd line.
