Description

As much as I would like the flames to make moves to continue to contend for the playoffs, I think they should let their prospects play. Jankowsi seems ready, Lazar can start to work his way in, Kulak can slot into the third pair and the flames can call up andersson or kylington to get them some experience.
The Flames have a deep prospect pool and although they should make a move for a top winger, they should allow some of them to develop and see what they can do. Foo has one more year in NCAA and then should be ready for the NHL.
I think the best thing for them to do would be to get Vanek or Jagr, have them mentor the younger guys a bit (unless they can pull off a trade for a top line winger).

Foo isn't going back to school. He turned pro. Stockton to start the season. I've watched a lot of Dube he is gonna be a stud no way I'd move him. If you want Staj to mentor anyone you put him in the press box or down to Stockton. Love that 3rd line though.

I thought I heard he had one more year in the NCAA, My bad! The only problem is Stajan's contract, sending him down doesn't take enough of his cap off the books. I like Dube, but need a team to take bait. It is only one more year, but it's one more year that Jankowski or Mangiapane can play in the league.

Don't agree with moving Stajan's final year at the cost of losing Dube. I think he has plenty of upside, and with CGY having slim picks in the cupboard, I don't see a 3rd being a good value for a guy of Dube's quality.

I'm a big Jagr supporter. I think he adds a few really worthwhile elements to this CGY roster.
