Admittedly, I like the blue line better with this set up. But trading for Andersson is ridiculous especially if that’s the price. He walks in two years or we are trading him again because he’ll demand the same money Dahlin is getting. Not to mention a basically top 10 1st and Matt Savoie should be more than enough to get that done without including Samuelsson.

I love the Matt Roy signing, that’s a guy I like a lot and I want him here. But instead of selling a farm for another defender who will walk away in no time, try targeting somebody with team control.

I think he probably holds more value to our team than he does to someone else. You get more from keeping him than you would for trading him.

I'm a big Todd McClellen fan, I think he was SJ best coach. I can live w/ Gallant though.

Also, CGY doesn’t have to trade him now, or even this offseason- they have plenty of time

And it’s probably (well past) time to start listening to the CGY fans who say he isn’t being traded

If the Sabres sign Roy, then they’re likely done with moves on defense
They also sign Jokiharju to a 2 or 3 year deal to have depth for injuries- and we’d roughly be all set

We aren’t gonna give up on Samuelsson after a down year
He was too good w Dahlin last year to do that

Power - M.Roy
Samuelsson/R.Johnson - Clifton/Jokiharju

That would be 7 guys for next year
And i could potentially be really happy with that defense
*especially if UPL keeps up the good play
