Why would they trade for ANOTHER goalie?

I like the targets and all but you have away a lot of our futures for rentals. Middleton is the only one with any term after this year. So if they lose again in the first couple rounds, you are out Minten, 2-1sts ++. The only way it makes sense is if they go after players with term or wait until the offseason to do anything drastic

Minnesota would need more value than that to give up a year + of Middleton on a cheap contract. A rental, an underwhelming prospect, and 2 late round picks don't get it done. When you add Maroon into the mix, it's even worse. While he won't get a ton, we could possibly get the 4th and 7th for him alone from someone near the deadline.
