Trouba isn't waiving his NMC, the only way he does is if he stays in NYC I'd guess. Also, highly doubt Rangers move their captain mid-season and for Strome who still has 4 years on his contract compared to Trouba's 2. Intriguing idea though

Lilleberg isn't likely available unless it's an offer Brisebois can't refuse
This isn't that. I realize it's a small sample size, but the kid is playing like a vet out there.

With all that cap, just sign a UFA(S) instead of trading.

Would be an off season trade, not necessarily for Strome but I think Strome could be moved — why I just used used him for the trade here

That’s fair, just wanted to add the Norwegian to go along with potentially drafting MBN

Just felt like Trouba could be a real run partner for Mintyukov

Not sure who would fill that as a free agent this summer

Just thinking the Ducks miss the playoff 24/25, and then only have two years of Trouba left.

A Trouba type would be the perfect stop gap for a couple years while Warren develops into that same role in like 2-3 seasons to then play with Mintyukov

Verbeek has already said in an interview that he sees those two as a pairing for the future

Trouba isn't leaving the metro division due to him and his wife having settled down well.

For Trouba I think the rangers would want 1 of the following: 3C, RW or RD. Young and cheap. Picks can make up the difference

Hahaha understood. Could be useful for future Trouba trades if any (even though his M-NTC ruins a lot of them)

Trouba isn't waiving for a bottom feeder, And there's no way he's waiving for the west coast. I seriously doubt his Dr wife will do her practice in Southern California when both are from Michigan.

This is just an idea of a player type for Mintyukov at the end of the day, not an actual trade for him

I've never met a Michiganer who wouldn't move to SoCal if they had the money to do so.

Roy from LA or DeMelo from Winipeg.

Please, Verbeek, don't sign Montour back.

It just depends on where his wife does her practice, I guess SoCal could be a place. Just don't see him leaving a contender for a team that's still away.
