Description
Step number 1 fire Keefe when we lose in the first round again or don’t even make the playoffs

At least we can pretty much guarantee zadorov isn’t gonna be a leaf next year, he will resign with the Canucks,
plus who wants a 4M+ 3rd pair player and we literally can’t afford it now because of nylanders extension and Benoit is zadorov 2.0 that comes 1/4 the price

Okay so I’ve signed Sammy to a 1 year deal if he shows he’s maybe back let him build up his value and get a good contract next year, I think hildeby should borderline be given a shot this year but we’ll give him 1 more year to develop but hopefully they bring him up to play a couple games maybe 3

Hold onto our first for this year draft Charlie Elick a big right handed D

Benoit has earned himself some full time ice time

Now I think this team can get to round 3 at least

Follow this plan brad

samsonov wont come back to TOR for 1mil, nor should they want him back, just kind of ignoring the most important position on the ice. He has always been inconsistent, with the rare actual quality last year.

I like woll, but his injury history can not be ignored and Hildeby isnt ready.

Better options are not needed here and going cheap seems to be a poor investment.

As for the rest of the roster, its not much change, so they better make it to the third round or better (not to mention Tavares looks bad, domi will want more than 3.5mil, and you're asking for a lot for all those young guys to be ready to be above average for a contender).

And while Benoit looks defensively good in comparison to his teammates, for a non-fighter his entire lack of offensive capability/production can not be given an everyday roster spot.

They can bring jones back for 1.2 I wouldn’t be surprised if domi came back for 3M he just wants to be a leaf, minten and Cowan will be ready but they have to be ready with nylanders extension we don’t have a lot of other options, we’ll see how Sammy does for the remainder of the year but he might be back

Maybe.

Domi is on his 6th-7th team in 9 years, he also is going to finish at .5pts a game or better, in a league with a growing cap, he is not taking a discount/below market value offer and really has no loyalty to the leafs.

I think youre expecting too much/too soon on Cowan and Minten to be quality 3rd liners on a contender.

but like the entire lineup, if they dont have a successful season, theres big questions on why they would bring back the same squad, or the fact that chances are they will make a move or two or three this year, (with limited high resources to do so: just 4 real prospects/young guns and just 2 1sts over the next 3 drafts) effecting 24-25

Domi going through that many teams hurts his value if anything and he got 3M because he did so well in Chicago last year I realize cap is going up but I gave him 500k raise he should be fine with that like I said he wants to be a leaf, could always waive McMann though

Why, exactly, would Wsh do that trade? Robertson looks like a dime a dozen bust. No need for the Capitals to also add the better pick. Wsh is better off just not doing this trade or trading TVR elsewhere for better.

Man I’ve seen a dozen of these from Washington fans where do you think I came up with the idea lol, robo is great I love him he’s over half a point per game playing 11 minutes a night getting him for a late 2nd is a steal I’d be surprised if the leafs had to add anything higher then a 5th lol, but I think Keefe doesn’t like him so he’s on his way out
