What rumor did you see that said we were giving up byram for lindholm other that people clearly just speculating

Canucks are not trading Hoggy ESPECIALY for a rental.IMHO.

Avs can’t afford that extension next year. Either Lindholm is a rental, Landeskog is retiring, or you have to ship out another top 4 guy.

I doubt Lindholm tales less than 8 x $8,500,000 and with Gabe Landeskog due back soon they can't afford that. And outside of Byram ii's a trash offer Lindholm. Sorry Colorado is easily outbid for Lindholm and i don't see Tanev in Vancouver.

Colorado is gonna have to move more cap (less Byram) if they add Lindholm.

It would make sense if Tanev would be traded to the Leafs, even though the Leafs have interest in him many times in the past months 🙄.
The Colorado trade is kinda weird.
Lindholm to the Avs would work, but the Avs are going to use Lindholm as a rental not term.

I could see that deal happening for Vancouver. We may say that we wouldn't trade Hoggy, but the fact is that he's replaceable by 3 or 4 players we have in Abbottsford right now. Taneve fits on our right side, he would improve any d-core, and would be a great addition to our playoff run.

There is NOT a player in Abby that can replace Hoggy rite now.Hez a 100% keeper in My opinion.

Karlsson, Bains or Podkolzin. Granted, none of them would likely perform at the same level has Hoggy on a 1:1 basis, but Hogs is playing an average of 11 minutes a game and virtually none on special teams. That isn't a hard stat to replace. When PDG comes back, he could take those minutes as well. I'm not excited to trade Hoggy, but if he's the piece the other team wants to bring in a top 4 RHD, I'm pretty sure the Canucks would do it.

Well lets agree to disagree.There is no way any of those players can replace Hoggy.Hes head n shoulders better than any of those players.Its not even close with PDG seriously!! IMHO.
