First off I have no idea if this is possible. If Chychrun is possible, I'm obviously offering Miller. Him and a first is the starting offer. Maybe Ottawa can figure out his potential. Tarasenko is gone after this season anyway so NYR might have to sweeten the deal a bit to retain $$. Dumping Goodrow isn't really a possibility imo, but give up any prospect not named Othmann or Perrault if it can be done. If not then Wheeler is obviosuly gone and obviously Jones will either have to be waived or included in this or another deal.

Bottom line if I'm Drury and this is possible, I try to get this done.

Only one (Chychrun) is truly of interest. Tank, if Goodrow is part of the package, is worth another look. The Rangers need a tertiary hard-hitting defenseman; if a player like Joseph was part the package, that's a smarter move.

Offer:

(NYR) Goodrow, Scanlin (do not overlook this young D-man), Berard, '24 second, '26 first.

(OTT) Chychrun and Joseph (retaining $1M).

Figured...think Chytil, Schneider, and Kakko fall in a similar category for NYR. I don't know that Rangers could acquire Chychrun and Tarasenko straight-up without giving up at least one of those players to even out the money. If Chytil's involved they'd likely either want Greig or Pinto involved for 3C. That's where it gets complicated, and breaks down. Also, not sure Goodrow would waive for the Sens.

I don’t think they’d want Chytil especially not for Greig or Pinto. It would have to be a 3 way trade with Miller or Lindgren going to a 3rd team tbh
