Firstly that wouldn't offset the cap coming in. And second Hoglander is playing way too well to trade. He's absolutely killing it in his role. One of the best value contracts on the team. You'd risk disrupting the team chemistry trading him.

Hoglander is 3rd in the league in goals per 60 5v5 (min 20 games played). He is too valuable to move. Canucks aren’t likely to move a roster player outside of Kuz.

This particular guy literally chimes in on every Canucks post with the strongest and most unfounded opinions. Like couldn't be more wrong %90+ of his comments.
