Trading Miller isnt something you just throw around any and all ideas that may pop into your head, because I may have suggested exploring that option. You trade him for something massively significant to this team, not as add-on to continue your pursuit of trading Goodrow.

Because many of your trades gain in one area and lose in another, and usually the loss is in the defensive area. Im trying to come up with ways where we get better in all aspects while also accepting the fact that we are likely not trading Goodrow.

I dont mind Sturm or Granlund, but at the cost of Miller and a 1st to drop Goodrow and put Ferraro there seems like a net loss.

I dont mind trading firsts at all. However as Ive said in another thread about Monahan, clearly him blocking all those shots dont make up for all the other mistakes on the ice based on how the metrics have him. Thats what concerns me. I dont get fixated on one singular stat, I want to see what the entire body of work is doing.
