Blom is definitely the real deal but the Pens have Murashev behind him and Jarry ahead of him and the ability to stick some quality alternatives into their lineup in between those three, so I look at him as a solid trade chip more than anything else. Goalies don't get as much as other positions, usually, so that's a fly in my ointment, but I still think PIT can probably afford to move him if a trade comes along that makes sense for the team as a whole.
Also the idea that Gustavsson, Grubauer, and Blom could all be starters in the league outside the Pens system is kind of amusing.
