They may be BFF. But Guentzal wouldnt commit to the Pens on an extension. Which means the Pens need to move him and not risk losing him in UFA for nothing.

I agree. I think they need to hold on to foegle. Guentzel is an interesting idea for the Oilers but they probably can't afford an extension and would be better with a top 9 forward capable of moving around the lineup and multiple positions.
Yes Reimer would be better over Pickard to essential give a break. Not sure if Detroit really is look at such a trade.

I don't think Warren Foegele is going to excite the Pens fan base. They would need a better replacement for Jake for this season I would think. They are still right there in the playoff race.

This isn't true. They are waiting until the deadline to see what the teams status is. If the pens lose a big guy to injury and their playoff hopes look bleak, Jake will be traded. If they continue to climb the standings, stay healthy, and keep playing great hockey he stays. It's a waiting game.
