That’s a good team, though if I was you guys I would look real close at Cayden Lindstrom over Eiserman, he’s bigger, faster, not as good a shot (though still very good) but is a much better passer and better 200’ for layer plus plays wing or C giving you guys more position flex. If Sharks don’t get Celebrini i want Lindstrom or Levshunov. Those are the clear top 3 to me as Eiserman shot is elite but he’s very 1 dimensional.

The fact that it got a piece of his stick which was entirely stationary seems to defeat the purpose of the rule being "Guys with knife shoes shouldn't be kicking at things, especially near the goalie"

The replay they showed at the game last night was a poor angle that did not show the slight deflection after the kick off the stick, but he also made not attempt to actively redirect the puck from his kick with his stick. I will concede that, still seems like it's following the letter of the ruling, not the spirit, and there's been a number of issues with "distinct kicking motion" since the rule came into affect that didn't apply to the Ducks, I still want clarification.

For me if you pick your skate off the ice it’s a hard no if it deflects off your skate even if it’s a motion of the skate towards the goal or puck should be ok! More scoring more fun! But the puck touch the stick 100% negates the kicking motion by the rule of the book.

Honestly you try and kick the puck in you risk popping your blade off your skate and immobilizing yourself leading to odd man breaks the other way so by that it isn’t smart.
