Bert is not signing that he gets at least what he's making now. Pesce gets at least another 2M. Robertson gets league minimum if he is still a leaf. Minten should make the team as 3C or 3LW. Send Reaves to the minors to clear cap space. Don't see the leafs carrying 3 goalies.

His offensive talent & touch has impressed me but defensively he is suspect and he needs more time / strength to figure how to win, or even just compete, for some 50-50 puck battles. He loses most if not all right now from what I see

More likely Bert then Domi, Leafs have 4 RWers (Nylander, Marner, Jarnkrok, Reaves) 3 C'ers (Matthews, JT, Kampf) and only 2 young LWers (Knies, Robertson) signed up next year, so Bert (if he doesn't demand a pay hike) is more needed to the roster than Domi.
