I’m not sold on getting a 2c like Lindholm for the price because I do think with Lehkonen back Colton can be the 2c which means they need to at least look for a 3C, but dear heaven in god if they let Provetsov play another game it is a massive mistake he was horrendous today, and he has always given up juicy rebounds and has subpar lateral movement so I am all aboard replacing him even if it means calling up Annunen.

But the problem is who? Lindholm is likely available then what 2C is? Are the Isles going to trade one of those guys, doubtful unless it’s an overpay, but who else? Colton with 2 wingers that can score can post 40pts fairly easily I think and a good 3C will be much cheaper and more likely have more options.

COL isn’t trading there both of there only real d prospects in a deal that is very possibly a rental that’s not realistic what you’re suggesting is 2 1st and a 2nd, if he had another year yeah you can ask that but not where it’s at now and with the unknown of Landeskog it isn’t practical imo.
