As a Flyer's fan, I would probably do that deal, although it all depends on how the development camp goes. If Patrick can't play or Lindbolm can't, I would do it. However, it would have to mean that Morin and Hagg can play, otherwise, we have a shortage of defensemen (Provorov, Ghost, Manning, AMAC).

Hmmm. Interesting. I think that since MTL needs a center, you can get some more from them. VAN im not too sure about, and I don't know if CBJ needs RNH, unless they want him to play wing.

MTL would probably be a good fit. C for C for CBJ so it would be an upgrade to a better C for them but a higher cap hit. And the opposite for Edmonton: a slight downgrade in quality of C, but at a more affordable cap hit. I think Gudbranson could be had for much cheaper than Nugent-Hopkins, especially if Vancouver is out of the playoffs early and Gudbranson indicates he wants to go to UFA market next summer. He might become a sought after rental for the playoffs at the deadline, so probably a 2nd round pick or something like that. Or maybe Nurse for Gudbranson if Edmonton doesn't plan on signing Nurse.

Jenner doesn't really play center anymore, he plays more LW. Granite, he can play center, but it might be weird switching over

No way Benning gets that much and trading Nuge for another Eric Gryba is insane it helps Edmonton none whatsoever. 8.5 is probably the most Drai gets. LB will still be a relatively unproven backup and sign for about 750 k again. Strome probably gets a bridge. PS. talked to a Bluejackets fan and we reached an agreement that Nuge and Jones for Jenner and a third maybe second is fair. In that case Strome would be third line centre almost guaranteeing he doesn't make more then 3.5 Boone would play left wing and Big rig should he ask for more then 2.5 we let him walk as Boone replaces him. Also Oilers will probably trade either Sekera or Russell

Gudas for Nuge is an overpayment and you're missing Darnell. also i dont think either of drake or strome will ever be a full time centre in the nhl
