The Girard trade is awful, he has way more value than that and Evans is too expensive for a 4C.

Dont think it fit MTL needs but just on a trade value basis I would do it… then try to reflip Girard and/or another D (ex: Harris)

Why do you insist on giving Girard away? Realistically he is worth as much as Newhook in a trade rather easily, but somehow you think a 25yr old top 4 dman for a bottom 6 center and I mean my guy Girard has 3 seasons where he scored more than Evans career high, you could make it a 1st and Evans for Girard and that would be closer to value than this awfulness.

Producing on a rebuilding team. He gets crushed in shot share, 50% of his points are on the power play, he is slow and does all that playing over 18 minutes a game. At least RyJo only produces 33% of his pts on the PP, while playing 14 minutes a game. So tell me again how he is an upgrade over RyJo? He doesn’t fit the Avs style of play exactly how RyJo doesn’t.
