I think trading back for our first isn't out of the realm of possibility with Nashville, I think Chicago is less inclined though.

Rangers don't go after Motte a third time, Nashville probably doesn't take Jeannot back (would also look bad on us for giving them back the player and then having our entire draft class), and I see Hugo going to a team that needs a minor goalie that could possibly play in the NHL like Seattle (Grubauer's injury luck, Dreidger maybe leaving in UFA)

Paying Sergachev that much to be a third pairing is yikes, considering the right almost looks the same with the addition of Thompson. Might be better options available that push Raddysh to be a 7th D-man.

no we would automatically get our 1st round pick back if we place in the bottom 10 of the league at the end of the season so I would be proposing tanking for that pick back. When we get our pick back then either the nashville or our 2026 pick would transfer to chicago and im not sure which one. No problem with Wheeler as a healthy scratch, but Chytil's issues are troublesome. Can't really trust him, at this point.
