Toronto paid next to nothing for Timmins and is a healthy scratch on some nights.

This zub to Toronto makes no sense for ottawa. Ottawa needs more zubs not less you can stop with this trade now

I wouldn’t infer Kämpf being a cap dump lol. I think we both know he is better than that lol.

However, I think where my criticism lies is if he doesn't fit the Leafs 4th line, what makes the poster think he fits the Sens 4th line? Both units are actually similar in construct. So, why would the Sens spend $1.5 million more? Answer: they don't.

Criticism #2, as I pointed out in another thread, only way Staois considers moving Zub is:

a) he receives a D of similar attributes and abilities (which the Leafs just don't have), and

b) the Sens get a longer term upgrade in the top 6 (which Kämpf isn't it, and the Leafs won't give up)

All and all..... more than one reason this deal doesn't work. I mean as a Leafs fan I love it, but it sets the Sens back..... big time.

The reason Kampf does not fit well in TML is because we do not have enough forwards that hit while OTT has plenty and will not miss 1.
If it took TML to add more I would because this is exactly what they need.
Or if OTT did not want Kampf just remove him from trade and flog him anywhere for a future considerations!

This one simply doesn't. You are asking for pieces that actually have real value to the Sens organization while giving up little thinking the UFA market is the answer.
