These are terrible.

Allen at 50 retained is easily worth more than a echler. Hes a average tandem starter who would be making less than 2 million.

Monahan alone will fetch a 1st why would they add massive negative value in johansen and add more positive value in savard?

They arent retaining on Allen. The retention spot is worth more than this return. The rumour is that they are asking for a 2nd plus at his full salary. They'll go down to a 3rd and a prospect and call it a day, is what I'm thinking. Jersey moves Hamilton to LTIR anyways. Its a pointless move.

Savard is worth a 1st on his own. They arent taking that return so they can be the Sabres/Senators with a bunch of kids to go with years of losing. Savard probably stays as he works great with Matheson. Monahan stays. Dvorak is the guy that is leaving in all likelihood.

I certainly don’t think a team would offer more than a 4th for an unretained Allen.

If he was on a 1 year deal I’d offer it as NJD. But he isn’t. Allen at 4 mill next year is not something teams want
