Thanks we needed a good Caps aren't even making the playoffs, Let alone winning the cup. Ovechkin is currently having one of the worst seasons of his career. 14 games no goals isn't helping much. There's no way Washington has the 4th best team in the Metro let alone top 3.

Wouldn't count them out so quick. They have the 11th best winning percentage and are getting better every week, and they are about to add Pacioretty and Bear. I'm not saying they are winning the Cup but I could see them making the playoffs.

Bear is a bottom pairing RD at best, Patches in the last several seasons has never played more than a handful of games. I bet he doesn't play more than 2-3 games before he gets injured again.

Bear has literally been playing 2nd pairing minutes his whole NHL career (outside of CAR) and has put up stellar analytics. He's a 2nd pairing defensemen.

Maybe Pac gets hurt, but if not he's a 30 goal scorer.

Also add that no way Ovi is shooting 5% the rest of the season so a slew more goals are going to come from him.
