I don't really care about the Dell signing, but I think it's just the fanbase clamouring for an actual goalie trade, and I don't blame them.

Kochetkov has been pretty solid in these last couple games and I still think he's our guy for the future, but he's still young and idk how he'll do down the stretch in the playoffs. With this year possibly being the last shot with players like Skjei, Pesce, Turbo, etc I really feel like we need someone proven who we can rely on.

And speaking of rely on, I'm just not high on Andersen with his injury history. He's a great goalie when healthy, but he hasn't been healthy for a full playoff run since we first signed him. I fear it may be the same story as the past 2 years with him, I really hope i'm wrong.

Part of me just wishes we'd rip the bandaid off and make a move for a goalie.

I’ll never understand the inability to compartmentalize these types of things. A PTO isn’t a signing…he isn’t being brought in as a solution for anything other than practicing.

The Canes can be looking for solutions long term, and short term, at the same time.

PK is playing well, and we need to give him some rest.
