The Kraken made a number of roster moves today, most notably trading for Tomas Tatar from the Avs. Last season, Seattle relied upon scoring in waves and rolling four lines to overwhelm opponents, to great success. That hasn't been replicated this season, and scoring goals has been an issue for the team, exacerbated by the injury absences of Burakovsky and Schwartz. Tatar hasn't had the greatest start to the season, but he's been a reliable secondary offensive threat throughout his career, so hopefully he can bring some extra scoring touch to a Kraken team that needs it.

Below is the lineup I'm projecting given the recent moves. Tatar will likely slot in on the second line centered by Alex Wennberg, although it is important to note that Hakstol deploys his top three lines in more of a 1A, 1B, and 1C setup. Tanev will slide back down to the fourth line, displacing Shore, and I believe the recently recalled Shane Wright will draw in on the right wing position of Tatar and Wennberg's line, as he is a natural right handed shot. I also believe Kartye, who has been playing well, was sent down mainly to help maneuver the salary cap and he will be back with the team in short order.
