Is Trouba really any better than Pionk? More expensive

The team of Trouba and Morrissey was great. Pionk and Morrissey when paired up just doesn't work. Trouba adds a physicality that Pionk doesn't have among other things.

id love a pulock trade (manitoba boy, too) but i think hed be expensive enough the jets would have to pay too much, unless the isles were tearing it down and we could py entirely in picks+prospects. the jets are rolling right now and i wouldnt want to take a roster player away. itll be an interesting TDL

They'd probably want Perfetti and a 1st for Pulock.

Pulock is exactly what we need… I say as long as it doesn't affect our core, the price is worth the reward.

Yeah in all honesty it will cost the Jets more than what I offered. A year ago I would of jumped at a trade involving Perfetti but now it would be harder to do although we have better prospects to fill Perfetti's position than the #1rhd.

Really feel like their defense needs some kind of upgrade, just doesn't look a D core thats gonna go very far in the playoffs and just a 3rd pair upgrade wouldn't make enough of a difference.

Maybe a Ekholm for Barrie + is a type of trade that Chevy has to do. Would the Islanders go for a Pulock for Demelo + trade especially if Demelo comes with an extension? Ekholm got Nashville Barrie, Schaffer, a 1st, and a 4th so for Pulock, Islanders could get Demelo(extended), McGroarty, and a first. This is if Islanders are out at TDL and the stars align.

And Schmidt and his contract has to be gone.

Pulock has trade protection and may not waive it despite being a Manitoba guy. It was known that if the Jets acquired Mark Stone at that TDL a while back he was going to be a pure rental and the Jets had no chance of signing him despite being a Winnipeg guy. The last guy from Dauphin the Jets tried to bring on board rejected them and went to Nashville.

Edit: I think he'd be great on the Jets, but I am not overly optimistic the Jets would meet the Isles ask and Pulock would waive.

Yeah the stars would have to align for the Jets to get Pulock but want to see Chevy improve the 1RHD.

Saw Trotz at a party back in the 80's and I was surprised he turned into the guy he is today.

It was because who he was hanging out with. The guy he was with went on the roof and starting pissing on people below. A little too crazy even for the 80's.
