He’s played much better than he did before/ when got injured - if he can keep it up we’ll probably see that as what the Sharks are looking for. They got a first for Goodrow - and one may argue Barabanov is a better player.

No, no, no. There are three things that need to happen roster wise.
1.) Find someone to help the PP
2.) Get rid of Acciari
3.) Get rid of Nieto

The Pens are 3rd in the NHL 5v5 in %goals
The Pens are 3rd on goals for and 6th on goals against 5v5.
The Pens are 1st in goals expected for 5v5.
The Pens are 4th in save% 5v5.
The Pens are 2nd in faceoff win% 5v5.

They are great 5v5.

On the PP:
26th in expected goals, 24th in Corsi, 31st in goals for, 27th in goals against, 31st in shooting%, 26th in save%.

They are awful on the powerplay. So that is what needs fixed. Accari and Nieto are also dead weight. They need to be tossed.

Edit: As of writing this, the Pens have 5 PP goals for and 4 SH goals against.

Also, Jarry (who you appear to be mad at) is (5v5)

10th in Low danger shot save%

Really gonna say acciari and neito lol, that’s a joke. Look what has happened to our PK since they got injured so nty to getting rid of them unless they’re replaced with players that are good pkers. As for the other assessments I agree, think the PP from what I’ve seen the pens do compared to other teams is they don’t have a true way to enter the zone, which is a problem but not the main one. IMO the problem is they set up the PP and just stop skating, and try to pass to open up lanes for passes and shots, and it simply doesn’t work. They have to skate to get open for each other, open up lanes, and bring PKers out of position, at least that’s how I see it, the pk against us seems to just be able to sit in position all the time and wait for the pens to make a dumb pass or an easily blockable/low percentage shot, its maddening.
