5.4 mill makes him the 10th highest paid goalie in hockey. He hasn't been a top 10 goalie this year, was bad the 4 years before that.

He's the 3rd highest paid goalie in hockey. Over the course of the his contract only Helle, Saros (maybe), Vasy, Bob, Igor, and Sorokin will make more.

So top 7 money for 4 years on a 30 year old goalie who's been at best (if you disregard most of the analytics) an average starter the last half decade? Certainly doesn't have +ve value in my eyes
