Edmonton fans won't want to move on from him (and they shouldn't) but their GM isn't good and I could see him trading him for a physical veteran defender. I think in the package above they would rather have Bortz over Scandella for cap reasons and Bortz has Stanely Cup experience.

Broberg should definitely be a target for the Blues though I would like to see him play with Parayko and see if he can stick on the top pair.

I wouldn't mind some of these younger d-men coming in just to see what they can do here. Change of scenery can sometimes do wonders, especially for a younger player

Per the Report from Weekes, EDM doesn't want picks and would prefer an NHL player in return. They can get a physical bottom pair player that's good at PK and a scoring forward that is just struggling right now

Felt. Almost as annoying when TOR fans create mocks trying to get Parayko for a bunch of garbage... he's not as bad as everyone makes him out to be. Steady d-man with just horrible d-partners since Bo had to retire. Contract is a little rich for his current play but if he had a better partner he would be more than worth it.

Broberg isn't really at this point either. But Bortz gives them EXP on the back end and if Vrana returns to form, he can be a 20+ goal scorer. Just isn't fitting in the Blues system this year for whatever reason. Was great for a while last year with them, had high hopes for him

I think Vrana's ship has sailed. He was better in Detroit but they still were not happy with his game.

Still had 10 goals in 20 games last year with the Blues. I just think the Blues are playing more defensive minded this year, which just doesn't fit Vrana. Leading to his poor play so far and being scratched a few times. I think a team like Edmonton would make sense as a middle 6 scoring winger that would benefit if he had a defensive-minded linemate so he could cheat more offensively. This newer Blues system just isn't a fit for him unfortunately

oilers do not want a 7th dman in return, we have options such as dineen, niemalainen, and gleason for that role.

Broberg for vrana at 50% retained or for jake neighbours is probably more the sort of trade that makes sense.

Neighbours as of now should be unavailable now that he's showing top 6 promise on the top line with Buch and Thomas. Vrana at 50% could certainly get it done.

If yuou are smart not much for Broberg. Kenny will panic and sell him off for pennies
