I don't see the Leafs giving up Marner particularly for what's offered. Byfield has been a disappointment for a 2nd overall pick and Clarke is too new to know what you have. Yes Marner is struggling but he has 525 games played with 574 points. Ignoring Merner's NMC you'd need to add a couple 1sts for us to not fall off the chair laughing.

Byfield on track for nearly 70 points on playing top line minutes on one of the best teams in the league. Can’t keep saying this guy is a bust at 21 when he is producing.
