The rangers have a couple avenue's to play with for cap space. Goodrow can be bought out, Ck and or mika could be moved if we're really in need of cap space.

Trouba is our captain, and as a top 4d as the cap rises his salary will look better and better.

We are also mostly locked up in terms of contracts.

Next year we have to pay Kakko/Schneider. Gus has earned a new deal, but we may not want to pay that.
The following year we have to pay laf and miller, but the cap going up will really help that.
And the following year, panarin's salary is off the books. So we have a ton of space to play with.
