I don’t see any value or interest in Holmberg or Klingberg from Calgary.

The rest might get you Tanev 50% retained (2024-1st + Abruzzese +Villeneuve), but there’s nothing there that would get you Zadorov as well

A first is what Tanev is at 50% retained. No more than that. That’s already a lot for a 34 year old. a 3rd, Abruzzese, Villenueve, is what Zadorov is with lets say 25% retention.

What Flames Fans are trying to tell TOR Fans is that the Leafs aren’t the only Team interested in Tanev or Zadorov, so it’s going to be a bidding war for their services and an over payment will be required to win the Tanev and Zadorov Sweepstakes

So as much as I don’t dispute a 1st for Tanev 50% is reasonable, it’ll cost TOR more to win him over other Team’s offers so a Sweetener like Villeneuve + compensation for the Retention + Abruzzese will be required

Zadorov continues to be criminally underrated on this site. He’s much better than McCabe, Giordano or Brodie are at this point in their careers

How much do you value Abruzzese and Villeneuve at because I have Abruzzese as a 3rd/4th and Villeneuve as a 5th, while I have Zadorov with no retention at a 2nd/Minten + 3rd/Abruzzese/Niemela + Player/Benoit/Timmins and with retention a 1st + Player. I also have Klingberg as a Cap Dump that’ll cost a 3rd/Niemela/Abruzzese to dump

Holmberg has zero value to me, given the Flames already have Ruzicka, Klapka, Ben Jones, Mathias Emelio Pettersen and Schwindt who can all Play Centre and are just as good, if not better overall players, especially on the FaceOff Dot
