I would give it until Dec 1 and if they're still in a playoff spot use a 2nd to go get another defenseman. Hold 1sts/prospects until the deadline

i mean if Ovi cared about winning would he have taken 9.5m? Capitals dont owe him anything imo both sides have let the other down but i would see how this year goes and go BIG fish hunting in the offseason. i would aim at Nylander
