As an Oilers fan, if they EVER get to the point where they have to trade McDavid, and they dont get back some Elite young talent to compete right away, its going to be a real tough sell to get people into that building night after night. A boatload of 1sts and random players aren't going to cut it.

At a minimum just to get the conversation started, names like Miller, Schneider, Othmann, Chytil would have to be included in addition to picks.

Unless he dislikes NY (wouldn't be the first), I can't see NY not being a destination of his liking. Very good chance to compete for the Cup, and while doing so might just become the apple of the eye of the biggest media market....opportunities galore in every imaginable way.

That said, this package just doesn't cut it. Igor, Lindgren, and/or Miller would need to be in the package. Don't think Goodrow would interest EDM....if he were in, NYR would need to provide addl value.
