The Flames would happily pass on both those trades. You can’t really think getting rid of Reaves contract would only cost a 6th round pick? He’s got time left on the contract and a significantly higher salary than he’s worth. That’ll end up costing a much higher pick or a prospect to get rid of no matter what team you trade him to. Trading a failing free agent contract in Bertuzzi, who may pick it up with a new team but there’s no guarantee. Also he’s on an expiring contract, something the Flames aren’t looking to add more of. Regardless of the fact he’s not worth Zadorov and Vladar, the flames wouldn’t be looking to add him unless an asset was being added under team control as well. Definitely understand you wanting to get rid of Reaves and Bertuzzi but these just aren’t anywhere near deals atm.
