TB passes, if we didn't pick up a goalie on waivers odds are we're not desperate enough to move a pick for one, especially with Vasilevskiy coming back in a few weeks

Also goaltending isn't the issue, JoJo's been fine, it's the team in front of them having mental breakdowns and forgetting they need to play a full 60 minutes a night that's the problem

Yeah, that would have been an early season decision and given the cost of Jeannot last year. I can see why TBl would be holding their picks closer this year.

Exactly, and Tomkins is just there to fill the spot of a backup, doesn't need to be anything special. JoJo is an incredibly pleasant surprise despite the defensive atrocities committed by our team in front of him as of late. Ambitions of Jones/Vladar/Allen etc being traded to TB died when he started to get into the form we needed here.

Actually think it has little to nothing to do with the Jeannot price tag, and a lot more in liking what they had seen in camp, preseason and through their pro-scouting. They were confident in what they hey had.
