Interesting. LOC jumped to 3rd line in practice today, so that could be. I think it was Lehky-Mac-Mikko on top with Tufte-Ryjo-Val on second. Drouin might be the odd guy out. His last two periods in the BUF game were terrible.

I don't know why, but I have a feeling Makar sits and Byram plays.

i really hope it's just the new guys getting used to the system still but the 3rd line has been average at best so far. They get so lost in our own zone still its crazy, i donno if woody needs to mvoe to line 4 or we need a new 3C options but that's a big issue currently from my perspective

No. I live a few states away, so it's hard to catch a practice Just repeating the Avs beat reporters who do show up and then post on Twitter.

Still growing pains for sure. Bednar is juggling people around and that seems to be keeping things off balance. I also think overconfidence came into play vs PIT. Hoping Tufte gives us an energy lift.

The only real problem I've had with Bednar is how he handles Georgiev. While both losses weren't entirely on Georgiev by any means, Bednar never seems to want to rest him. Georgiev showed last year that he hits a wall after playing 5-6 straight. We have to see what we have behind him eventually anyway. While I understand the logic of going back to him while the Avs have a light schedule to start the season, it would seem that the CHI game or even PIT would have been the better time to see what we've got behind Georgiev.

You know, I actually don't mind this. It would be interesting to see val and mikko on the same line, plus i've always preferred lehkonen on the second line anyway.
One thing to note though, I do NOT want to start Georgiev when we play Vegas after this game.
