Lafreniere is not better than Guentzel... what are you on lol not even close. He's been a huge let down for a first overall and all your fans are well aware. Laf is a .23 goal per game player, Jake is .43 goal per game player.

Lafreniere is almost a decade younger than Guentzel. He has a way higher upside than Guentzel ever had. And he's not a let-down at all. Anyone who says that, Ranger fan or otherwise, literally must not watch the games. It's no coincidence that he's been one of our best forwards this year and started to go off the SECOND he received top 6 minutes. We'll see who has a better career when all is said and done. Lafreniere looks fantastic. Thus why this trade is trying to get him to the Penguins.
