Also, looking at the roster I think the gaping organizational hole is RD, which we cannot help you all with. But we have some pieces I think could really help the bottom 6 plus a few young LD who have played both sides (Odelius, Romanov, Aho)

Playing Chabot and Brannstrom as RD can only be used so long

I don't think Ottawa is looking to trade Batherson, but if they were to NYI, it would probably have to involve Dobson. Overall, doubt a move like that ever happens.

I am changing the GM and coaching staff wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy before I move any important player. Batherson is an incredible playmaker, a Greig - Norris - Batherson line would rock when Norris is fully up to speed (missed a lot of hockey since last year) but Greig is actually needed everywhere on the roster
