Description

Not saying this is the actual trade that goes down. But do you think Tampa would be interested in Forsberg now that Vasi is out for two months and would be a very good backup for when he returns to help relive the workload. This would also help Ottawa keep Joseph and brannstrom and give them enough money to sign Pinto. Soogard showed he can play in the NHL and would be a decent backup.

Tampa would rather trade for a goalie that is signed to league minimum on a 1 year deal.

Looks like Tampa can't do that anyway but it would have been next to impossible for Ottawa to do it because the reason why Korpisalo signed in Ottawa was to play with Forsberg. Good luck making any sales pitch in the future

And I would really prefer if Sogaard plays at least another full season in the AHL, still so young. He was certainly not NHL ready last season when he was thrown into the wolves.
