I like this a lot. This year is going to determine if they are legit or not. If they can make the playoffs (which i think they will) and they can move out of the first round I think that will prove a lot, but I think Panarin will regress a bit, I do not think Laf is ready to be on the top line and I expect them to live or die by the powerplay again

Wheeler looked slow and tired against NYI. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets bought out or put on waivers. Cullye looks more ready than Othmann and I would move Laffy down with Chytil and Panarin and Kakko to play with Kreider and Zibanejad. Jones looked good against Boston and Quick didn't (another waiver?)

There is no chance you truly believe that about wheeler. He has played one game in preseason. Give it time. Same with Quick.

I do agree about Cullye, I think he has a bigger chance to make the roster for opening night, but I think laf should stay on the first line and kakko should be on the second line with chytil and panarin. Cullye, Trocheck, and Wheeler would make a pretty good 3rd line imo.

I do believe both Wheeler and Quick are going to be liabilities while Cuylle and Othmann have both performed above expectations. Domingue is still in the mix because Quick will probably have a quick (pun intended) exit if he doesn't play better.
