Looking good. Nervous about Willy at C though. 😳. I personally would rather see Robertson in the lineup over Jarnkrok. Maybe they can move Jarnkrok for a draft pick for some cap relief.

Oh I think he is. We could actually go with a 21 man roster if we got rid of him. We have Marlies that have been developing there for years that can step up and take his job for half the salary.

Nylander took some shifts with Leafs at centre here & there & he often takes face offs on right side. He also played centre with the Marlies; he certainly has the tools to play C imo

The problem with the 2nd line is they never start with the puck. Willie isn't winning the faceoff against any teams 2nd line center or shutdown center. So the line is chasing the puck after ever draw.

We don’t need his 20 goals. We covered that by getting Bertuzzi and Domi. We need a good checker to play in a shut down role. I personally think Steeves/Holmberg/McMann could battle for the spot. Cowan knocking on the door next year. Even Gregor could challenge that spot.
