I'm not so sure about that AAV I think he might want more tbh. The Lightning are kinda doing him dirty with the AAV they are offering they really wanna minimize his value.

I think Stamkos gets a 3-4 year, but probably a bit more on the AAV. I think De Haan would be servicable for another year, but that 2RW void still needs to be filled and I don't think Jeannot fills it.

Also I don't know if we'll want two years of Johansson as our backup G if he's truly as terrible as thought to be

Tampa likely doesn't sign the 2 wingers for that much, but Seeler could be an interesting option for 3LD. Stamkos will get done, but JBB should wait for confirmation of the cap increase first. The way things have been handled(no communication allegedly) is disappointing, but JBB's overall position isn't incorrect. Stamkos should still be able to get 7.5x3 or 4 years, and the team will have have enough left over to address 3LD+uD, and add 1 lower priced bottom 6 F. One of Sheary/Jeannot/Syracuse promotion is the 2RW answer for the next year or two(imo Sheary), and that's fine. Unless Stamkos simply wants way too much or his game really craters this season, it's very doubtful he's going anywhere.
