If you have two T10 forwards in the NHL, Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews, both of which have been in selke talks, on top of Matthews, behind him you have yet another top-25 centre in JT, and a T20 winger in Willy Nylander.
If your still getting outscored or outplayed physically this year, there's a serious issue; you have guys like Bertuzzi, Domi, Arvidsson, Knies, and Jarnkrok who can give you from 35-80 points.
Bertuzzi is a pain in the ass to play against, you also have feisty guys who get under you skin like Domi and Arvidsson, with the toughest guy in the NHL; Ryan Reaves and Mathew Knies isn't scared of laying the body either.
Defensively, you have guys like Dillon, McCabe, and Benoit, all three who can throw hits. Keep in mind, Klingberg isn't a slouch either, he has went up against MT on numerous occasions.
The defensive shouldn't be an issue, as long as Liljergren takes a leap forward, McCabe adjusts, Brodie doesn't have a steep decline and Klingberg plays up to par. Dillon adds a physical edge and defensive stability which should be enough, you also have depth defenceman like Benoit, Giordano, and Bear.
If Samsonov can play like he did against TBL and stay healthy, that's more than enough. Also, if Woll takes a big step forward, he may be able to steal Sammy's job, which is a good problem to have.
Offensively, their loaded. Defensively, they are solid and they good enough goaltending. It's definitely cup or bust this season
