I think Nylander is better with Matthews and Tavares does better with Marner, some nights Nylander and Tavares really struggle you are totally right for some reason I think Keefe has a tough time rewarding Nylander with first line looks and playing with Matthews it's kind of funny...Nylander and Tavares sometimes need to perform better in Keefes mins I guess...very good point you have made.

Agree about the 2-way play for the top 2 lines. The only issue with Willie is he is a shoot first, gain the o-zone and drive to the net, this really isn't the style winger that helps out Matthews production. So the defensive liability playing Domi-JT-Willie would be a big issue. Big no win situation for the leafs, Marner l guess can move up and down when Matthews and JT production is struggling.

That's going to be rough on your defense considering 5 of them are between 29 and 39, especially when only 2 of them played more than 70 games last season.
