I really appreciate Voronkov's rugged style of play and see great potential in him. However, I believe it's important for fans to temper their expectations regarding his immediate impact. It's my belief that he will require some time to adjust to the new environment.
Ideally, Voronkov should spend a few months in Cleveland to acclimate to the North American style of play. When he eventually gets called up to the main team, starting on the fourth line is likely the best approach to ease him into the lineup. This will provide a valuable testing ground for his skating ability.
Before he can move up in the lineup or take on a center ice role, Voronkov will need to demonstrate his ability to anticipate plays and position himself correctly without the puck. This will be a crucial step in his development.
