Foolish trade for Seattle who has been foolish with Wright already

Why is Peeke #1rd? What has he proved in the NHL to justify him being more than a bottom pair guy? Truly asking.

Oh no, you lost us at the Nylander extension. As you know teams in the Leafs and Nylander situation, teams don't give permission to negotiate with other teams on their next contract.....NEVER. I doubt Seattle would do the trade anyway.
Why would CBJ trade Peeke for so little if he any good (which he isn't). Just keep Timmins.

Lyubu and Schenn were more stop gaps and worked based on their low cap hit. They each got 2.75m contract afterwards, which outpriced them for Toronto. I would have rather kept Schenn at 2.75m in FA then to pay picks and get Peeke for 2.75m as well. But ultimately 2.75m is too much money for Lyu and for Schenn (at least for the Leafs). Leafs can add a Peeke type but his cap better be under a million.

Peeke can handle more minutes than both those players tho, not sure why he’s so slept on, to me he could be our cernak minus the fighting

Maybe you get a 3rd from someone for Timmins, maybe not. Pretty sure it wouldn't be the Avs.
